The Nava Center therapists are clinical professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and counselors, who are all extensively trained in trauma-related interventions. We meet our clients where they are and help get them where they want to go.
The Nava Center completes an intake to help determine the best treatment modality and intervention. We offer individual and group therapy.
We provide trauma-informed and evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individual therapy, including:
Trauma-focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT)
Prolonged Exposure (PE)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT)
Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR)
The DBT skills group is held on Mondays from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. EST.
Open to anyone with an individual therapist (even if you are not in individual therapy at The Nava Center).
You will learn skills for distress tolerance, mindfulness, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
The Nava Center offers other group therapy options based on interest and availability.
Please email heal@thenavacenter.org if you are interested in our other offerings, such as our Trauma Support Group or Coping with Trauma group.
If you are in need of an evaluation for an emotional support animal, contact us at heal@thenavacenter.org
Cost For Services
The Nava Center uses a household income-based sliding scale and accepts Quest Behavioral Health insurance. This means we take into account the amount of money your household earns and the number of people it supports. This helps ensure that everyone can afford their treatment. At this time, we do not accept insurance from other providers; however, we will provide documentation for out-of-network insurance reimbursement.
Donations to The Nava Center help offset the costs of therapy for individuals who are unable to afford psychotherapy. We will never turn anyone away.
